Electric vehicle owners can replenish 80% of battery capacity in just 40 minutes, using fast DC charging per 100 kW. As a regular alternative, you can use a home charger with a wall box with a power of 7 kW, which will allow you to charge the battery up to 80% in ten hours.

Two newly developed Jaguar permanent magnet synchronous motors drive the front and rear axles. Each engine perfectly interacts with a single-stage gearbox and differential, providing instant and accurate torque distribution across all four wheels.

The I-Pace electric crossover was originally conceived as a high-performance electric vehicle that provides dynamic driving, everyday practicality, sophistication and safety. Engineers placed the battery as low as possible between the axles, thereby ensuring the weight distribution of 50/50 and the low center of gravity, which gave the electric stability and made it as obedient as possible for the steering commands.

Suspension of the car despite the gravity of the battery works perfectly, providing comfort when driving, stability and rigidity with abrupt maneuvers and sharp turns, excellent grip with the road surface and handling. Lightweight and compact suspension design, created with a significant amount of aluminum elements, reduced the weight of the electric vehicle and provided maximum interior space.

The Jaguar I-Pace features an advanced electric brake system that provides greater pedal sensitivity when combined with traditional mechanical and regenerative braking. The system allows the driver to choose high and low levels of regenerative braking to improve driving efficiency and energy efficiency, allowing you to intuitively control the car with one pedal.

Jaguar I-Pace is designed for use in hot or extremely cold climates. The minimum allowable temperature for riding an electric car is 40 degrees, which is 10 degrees lower than for other electric vehicles.

In cold conditions, the heat pump helps maintain optimal working conditions, both in the cabin and in the battery units. At the same time, the heat pump is powered by external energy and heats the cabin through inverters and power electronics, instead of relying solely on battery energy, thus, even in harsh winters, the Jaguar I-Pace will maintain a substantial reserve of power.

The appearance of the Jaguar I-Pace almost completely repeats the appearance of the model’s concept kits. Smooth coupe-like silhouette, wide front fenders, a pronounced “waist” of the car complete with huge wheels create an unforgettable image.

The I-Pace drag coefficient is only 0.29. To reduce the resistance, the grille turned into a bold aerodynamic element directing the air flow through the hood and windshield to the roofline in the coupe style. The airflow for cooling the battery and the climate control system passes through the blades in the holes in the front bumper, which open as needed.

Door handles hidden inside, keeping the lines clean and also improving aerodynamics, are pushed out of the door by pressing a button on the keychain or by touching it.

Optics are based on the Matrix Jaguar Land Rover LED backlight technology and underline the graceful I-Pace lines.
