The power plant of the Opel Corsa-e is represented by an electric motor with a power of 100 kW (136 hp) and a torque of 260 N⋅m. The dynamics of acceleration of an electric vehicle from 0 to 50 km / h is 2.8 seconds, and from zero to the first hundred in just 8.1 seconds.

Corsa-e battery and charging

The Opel Corsa-e battery capacity is 50 kWh and, in accordance with the WLTP cycle, provides the electric car with a power reserve of 330 km.

The Opel Corsa-e can be charged on AC power via the Type 2 port from a 7.4 kW single-phase on-board charger in 7 hours 45 minutes (on the Edition with 11 kW three-phase on-board charger in 5 hours 15 minutes), and also on fast charging stations with power up to 100 kW via CCS Combo 2 in 30 minutes up to 80% of the battery capacity.

The Corsa-e looks very dynamic thanks to its sporty design, while maintaining its compact outer dimensions.

With a total length of 4.06 meters, the Corsa is very agile, practical and roomy enough for its class. The roofline of an electric car has a lot in common with a coupe, it is 48 mm lower than that of the previous generation, which, however, did not significantly affect the ceiling height in the cabin, since in the new car the driver sits 28 mm lower.

The striking appearance of the electric vehicle is emphasized by LED front optics in a striking, defiant design, the possibility of a two-tone body design and an original pattern of rims.

The interior of the electric car 2023 Opel Corsa-e

On the inside, the electric car is the embodiment of the company’s innovative solutions for what a compact electric car should look like. Everything is extremely laconic, restrained and at the same time technological. Fully digital controls, dashboard and center display for the media system emphasize the vehicle’s electrical nature.

Finishing materials and build quality are at a very high level. The interior has several interesting design solutions, in particular the innovative gear selector, which has received an interesting design. The sports multifunction steering wheel is comfortable to grip and offers all the familiar controls.

It is spacious inside, there is enough space above the head and in the knees, both for the front and rear passengers, however, you need to understand that the car is focused on a city dweller, so long trips in the rear seats will not be comfortable for everyone.

Corsa-e packaging and safety

The technologies and driver assistance systems implemented in the Opel Corsa-e are more often found in higher class cars. Among them, adaptive, non-glare matrix light, where 8 LED elements controlled by a new generation of high-resolution front camera, continuously adapt the light beam to the current situation on the road and the environment, is presented for the first time in the compact car class.

The Corsa-e is available in two trim levels, Selection and Edition. Depending on the equipment, the Opel Corsa-e offers the Multimedia Navi infotainment system with a 7.0-inch color touchscreen or Multimedia Navi Pro with a 10.0-inch screen and the “Opel Connect” function, which allows realizing such useful features such as real-time navigation with traffic information as well as direct communication for roadside assistance and emergency calls.

In the higher Edition trim level, the electric car gets 17-inch alloy wheels with original pattern, two-tone interior and fully digital control.
Advanced vehicle safety systems include road sign recognition, automatic emergency braking, pedestrian detection, and lane keeping assist.
