Electric Transmission 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQV
The Mercedes-Benz EQV is equipped with a 150 kW front-wheel drive compact electric transmission (eATS) in which an electric motor, a fixed gear ratio transmission, a cooling system and power electronics form a compact and integral unit. The maximum speed that the power plant develops is 160 km / h.
Battery and Charging 2021 Mercedes-Benz EQV
Mercedes-Benz EQV is equipped with a lithium-ion battery capacity of 100 kWh (limited by a useful capacity of 90 kWh), which provides a range of 400 km on the WLTP cycle. The battery is installed in the floor of the van, which positively affects its stability and driving performance.
For charging the electric van, an on-board AC charger with water cooling with a power of 11 kW is responsible. In addition to it, the electric car is available for fast DC charging using CCS Combo 2, with which you can charge a car with a maximum power of 110 kW from 10 to 80% of the battery capacity in less than 45 minutes.
The Mercedes-Benz EQV charging port is located on the left side of the front bumper.
The electric van is a classic Mercedes-Benz V-class passenger van, but with exclusive elements inherent in the EQ family. In particular, belonging to the electric Mercedes-Benz series can be determined by the original black radiator grille with chrome fins, as well as 18-inch wheels with a special disc pattern, which only emphasize the dynamism of the image, characteristic only for this model.
The electromobile aesthetics of the exterior can also be seen in the interior, where the emphasis is on simple and intuitive controls. The interior has a lot of blue shades symbolizing electric mobility, in particular the surface of the front panel, door cards and seatbacks are trimmed with blue leather. In addition to this, the seats are stitched with blue stitching, and around the entire perimeter of the dashboard there is a blue LED backlight.
The integral image of the EQV interior is recognizable and has much in common with the fuel vans of this series. Build quality, attention to detail, ergonomics, everything is at the highest level and provides the highest level of comfort for both the driver and all passengers. Particularly noteworthy is the interior layout, which offers several options for arranging seats with a basic 6-seater seat before transforming the EQV into an 8-seater minibus.
