The electric motor is powered by a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 64 kW • h, providing a range of 385 km on a single charge. Customers will also be able to buy a crossover with a lithium-polymer battery with a capacity of 39.2 kWh, which will allow the electric car to go up to 246 km on a single charge.

It will be possible to charge the novelty with the help of 100 kW of a fast charger by 80% in 54 minutes. The battery pack is located under the floor of the car, creating a low center of gravity and providing maximum stability and driving pleasure on winding roads.

The electric crossover Kia Niro EV is equipped with a number of driver assistance systems. Available active safety systems include a warning about a collision with a car in front, and smart cruise control.

The Lane Follow Assist is a Level Two autonomous driving technology that tracks vehicles ahead and detects road markings to keep the Niro EV in its lane on the highway. The system controls acceleration, braking and steering according to the behavior of the vehicles in front, using external sensors to maintain a safe distance. Niro EV differs from its hybrid counterparts in a series of exclusive design features. Its futuristic and aerodynamic grille has an integrated charging port with the Niro logo. The electric car also features air intakes and new LED daytime running lights in the shape of an arrow in combination with light blue trim details.

Niro EV has 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels with a two-tone finish and diamond coating, equipped with a Kia regenerative braking system.

The modern interior of the electric car combines space and technology and distinguishes Niro EV from other models with many new features and design elements. A new light blue trim appeared on the dashboard, the design of the center console was simplified. The new lighting system is configured so that the driver and passengers can choose from six colors – white, gray, bronze, red, green and blue. New glossy black and blue door trim further enhance the futuristic atmosphere.

The 7.0-inch touchscreen display with an intelligent interface remains at the center of the dashboard, but has been updated to offer a number of features specific to electric vehicles. The new infotainment system allows owners to find charging points nearby and control their charge and range.

The 7.0-inch color LCD allows the driver to intuitively check driving and transmission information on the go.

The center console has plenty of storage space for small items, including a wireless charger for smartphones. The lamp is built into the top of the dashboard, while the light shows how the battery is charging.
